The following is a news release from the American Horse Council regarding the new Horse Protection Act rule set to go into effect February 1, 2025. In addition to the AHC’s request, three plaintiffs have challenged the rule in federal court in Amarillo, Texas. A decision in that lawsuit should come prior to the February 1 effective date, which could render the rule invalid and all or some of its provisions not valid and not implemented. Read More
